Hi, I’m Jodie — the founder and designer behind Jodie Gray Interiors. My path to interior design wasn’t traditional, but it’s always been where my heart belonged. Before stepping into the design world, I spent 11 years working as a medical coder after earning my degree in medical coding. While I valued that career, I always felt pulled toward creativity, spaces, and the feeling that thoughtful design can bring to a home.

Choosing to pursue design meant following a dream I had carried for years. Today, I’m continuing to grow my company while also working toward my bachelor’s degree in business at East Carolina University — combining creativity with the knowledge to build a business rooted in longevity and purpose.

Design, for me, is deeply personal. I’m the kind of person who has to touch fabrics, feel textures, and notice the small details that others might overlook. Furniture, materials, and collected pieces bring me genuine joy, and I believe those details are what make a house feel layered, lived-in, and truly special.

I believe great design isn’t about following trends — it’s about finding the right vibe for both the person and the home. Every space should feel authentic, comfortable, and reflective of the people who live there. My goal is to create interiors that feel beautiful, timeless, and deeply connected to the lives unfolding inside them.
